PM Internship Scheme 2025:
The Prime Minister Internship Scheme in Top Companies has been announced in the Budget 2024-25 (Scheme). It aims to provide internship opportunities to one crore youth in top 500 companies in 5 years. Through this scheme, youth will gain exposure for 12 months to real-life business environment, across varied professions and employment opportunities.
The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) of the Government of India has initiated the Prime Minister Internship Scheme (PM Internship Scheme). For further information, go here. Registrations for the PM Internship Scheme (PMIS) have begun as of the 12th of October, 2024. Under the Prime Minister’s Internship Scheme, internships will last for a period of one year, or twelve months. Through the official website of the Prime Minister Internship (PM Internship Portal), which can be found at pminternship.mca.gov.in, individuals who meet the requirements can submit their applications for the PM Internship Scheme.

Eligibility Criteria:
Age Limit:Â 21 to 24 years as on 12 March 2025
Education: Not Enrolled full time
Job Status: Not employed full-time
Family (Self/spouse/Parents): No member is earning more than 8 lakh per annum and No member has a govt job.
Educational Qualification:Â 10th/12th/ITI/Diploma/BA/B.Sc/B.Com/BCA/BBA/B.Pharma
Features of PM Internship Scheme:
- Real life experience in leading companies in India (12 months)
- Monthly Assistant by Industry: ₹5000/-
- Monthly Assistant by Government: ₹4500/-
- One Time Grant: ₹6000/-
- Insurance coverage for every intern under Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana by Government of India
