• HSBC is currently hunting for the experienced professional to join the team for Senior Consultant.
• The Markets and securities services (MSS) FDR IT team is responsible for solutions for Data and Regulatory Reporting business.
• This team’s job is definition, development and its implementation of target state for Markets Control Like Trade Conduct Control to provide a single interface for middle office business to manage.
• FDR IT is a part of MSS IT it’s primary job is to provide services to middle office business.
• MSS IT has been on a transformation journey in recent years by adopting Agile methodology and Devops.
• HSBC is onto the journey of transformation and automation with focus on Innovation and building new solutions with internal cloud infrastructure.

• Overview of the Role:
• This role falls within the Finance Data and Regulatory Reporting IT (FDR IT) part of Markets and Security Services IT.
• The FDR IT department helps MSS functions Financial Control, Product Control as well as Middle Office operational support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop systems to support strategic business initiative.
• Participate in agile development projects proactively.
• Understand the requirements and provide estimations for the project as per the business requirements.
• Provide effective and sustainable solutions for problem solving.
• Troubleshoot defects and work on problem solving.
• Work with end-to-end teams from requirements analysis to production rollout.
• Interact with a large global team to come up with strategic solutions.
• Build sustainable software with quality, reusability, scalability, and supportability.
• Innovate tools wherever possible and try to implement/use effectively in day today work.
• Providing support to the solution architect to ensure that solutions and services are supported by the right architectures & systems.

Requirements for this Role:

• 4 Years of experience in IT
• Experience in core JAVA,
• Experience in database technologies life SQL, MSSQL, Oracle.
• Experience in MQ, Solace, RESTful service.
• Experience with developing distributed data grid platforms.
• Experience in development tools Eclipse, GIT, JIRA, IntelliJ, Maven, Ansible, Jenkins.
• Should have innovative mindset and ready to own a problem to find the solution.
• Should perform System analysis, design, coding and testing according to the Bank’s standard and meeting quality requirements.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Candidate should have urgency to complete the task and problem solving in timely manner.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Should adhere to compliance procedures & policies.
• Candidate should able to work independently with strong analytical skills.
• Should able to work pro-actively to meet the deadlines.
• Strong teamwork and should also able to work with remote teams.
• Highly motivated with positive attitude towards work.

Good to have additional skills

• Knowledge of Communication and collaboration platforms like Jira, SharePoint, Confluence.
• Good to have experience in Apache Kafka and Beam, Apache Spark.
• Good to have experience in Solace and Object Store.
• List out your additional skills and certificates you hold.
